We combine Labuan Bajo – as main gate of Flores Tourism – and Wae Rebo village in order to give more experience to the traveler about life of the people on these two different places.
This is combination of Komodo Dragon tour and cultural tour. We will not skip the amazing sunset with flying fox on the second day.
Waerebo village itself located in a district of Manggarai, Flores Island. What makes this village unique is the traditional house called Mbaru Niang which build based on the spirit of social cooperation towards a sustainable tradition. The whole community life inspired by the value of the tradition.
The village situated on around 1,100 meters above sea level and approximately 3 – 4 hour walk from Denge Village.
All the areas surrounded by panoramic mountain rich with vegetation. The forest covers all the trek to the village. It is worth to visit this place to witness the peaceful living of local Manggarai tribe.
Here is the itinerary:
Day 1. Our guide will pick you up at Labuan Bajo airport. Soon after, we will drive to Wae Rebo with 4 hours estimated time needed. Lunch box is prepared and will have it on way to Wae Rebo. We will spend whole night with local people in Wae Rebo village.
Day 2. We will leave Wae Rebo Village in the morning. Drive back to Labuan Bajo. Hotel check in then get to the boat for Rinca trip. In Rinca we will spend few hours to see Komodo dragon. After Rinca, we will sail back to Flying Fox Island to watch the bats during sunset time. After sunset we will sail back to Labuan Bajo.
Day 3. This is the last day. We will pick you up at the hotel and drop you to the Airport for your flight.
This itinerary is flexible, we are open to your suggestion whether you would like to change it depends on your own plan.
What to bring: Trekking shoes, jacket, sun block, hat, camera, etc.
Price Include: Car, boat, mineral water, snacks, all meals during the trip, and all tickets.
