One-day tour packages

Daily tours are the most sought-after way to explore Komodo National Park. These excursions allow you to discover the park’s premier destinations in a single day, typically departing early from Labuan Bajo.

We offer three distinct daily tour options:

• Komodo Island Tour
• Rinca Island Tour
• Half Day Tour to Rinca Island

Option 1: Komodo Island Tour [Speed Boat]

Start your adventure bright and early with a convenient hotel pickup at 6:00 am. This full-day experience runs until approximately 5:00 pm, and we’ll ensure a smooth, direct transfer to the harbor where your tour begins.

PADAR ISLAND – LONG PINK BEACH – KOMODO ISLAND – TAKA MAKASAR – MANTA POINT – SIABA/KANAWA ISLAND. 

• 06:00 AM – 06:30 AM: Hotel Pick-up and Transfer to Harbor
  The tour starts with a pick-up from your hotel in Labuan Bajo, followed by a short transfer to the harbor to board the speedboat.
• 06:30 AM – 08:00 AM: Travel to Padar Island
  Depart from the harbor and enjoy a scenic speedboat ride to Padar Island.  The journey typically takes around 90 minutes.
• 08:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Trekking at Padar Island
  Upon arrival, you will hike to the iconic viewpoint for a spectacular panoramic view of the three crescent-shaped bays. The hike is moderate-to-challenging but short, taking about 40 minutes to an hour.
• 10:00 AM – 11:15 AM: Enjoy Pink Beach
  Head to Pink Beach (Long Beach), famous for its rose-colored sand. Here, you can relax on the beach, swim, and snorkel in the clear waters.
• 11:15 AM – 01:00 PM: Trekking at Komodo Island (with Lunch)
  Continue to Komodo Island, home of the legendary Komodo dragons. A national park ranger will guide you on a trek to see the dragons and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Lunch will be provided on the boat, often during this leg or just after the trek.
• 01:00 PM – 01:45 PM: Snorkeling at Taka Makassar
  Sail to Taka Makassar, a beautiful white-sand bar in the middle of the sea. Enjoy time for swimming, snorkeling, and taking photos in the shallow, turquoise water.
• 01:45 PM – 02:30 PM: Snorkeling at Manta Point
  Proceed to Manta Point for a chance to snorkel with majestic manta rays (sightings are subject to luck and weather conditions).
• 02:30 PM – 03:30 PM: Snorkeling at Siaba Island
  The final stop for water activities is typically Siaba Island (or a similar location like Kanawa Island), known as a good spot for seeing sea turtles and vibrant coral reefs.
• 03:30 PM – 05:00 PM: Return to Labuan Bajo
  Begin the journey back to Labuan Bajo harbor. Upon arrival, you will be transferred back to your hotel, concluding the tour for the day.

Padar Island is the third biggest Island in Komodo National Park. Hiking to its top is heartbreaking! But the view of the three bays is amazing. So you have to reach the top through the stairs. Only 40 minutes you will reach the view point.

After hike at the Padar island, you will continue sail to Long Pink Beach. The pink beach is truly amazing. Snorkeling is the best activity beside taking instagramable photos here at Pink Beach.

Speed boat continuously brings you to the next stop which is Komodo Island. Wild Komodo Dragon is waiting in some spots. The natural guide ‘rangers’ in this Island will help you take some picture with Komodo Dragon.

 After Komodo Island, you will go to 3 last spots of the day. Taka Makasar is lovely. Its white sand makes it perfect to get some pictures. Just a few minutes from Taka Makasar, the next spot is Manta Point. Your guide will help you to snorkel with the Manta Rays. 

Next last spot is Kanawa Island. In Kanawa you will spend time to swim with a lot of fish near the jetty. Kanawa Resort has a small café where you can order some drinks. Finally you will sail back to Labuan Bajo and will drop directly to your hotel from the harbor by our car.

Option 2: Rinca ISLAND Tour (Speed Boat or Wooden Boat)

This full day tour starts at 7:00 am and ends at 15:00 pm. You will be picked up from the hotel and drop directly to the jetty.

Here is the itinerary of this tour: Rinca Island – Menjerite Island – Kelor Island. Rinca Island is the home of Komodo Dragon. 

You will sail directly from Labuan Bajo to this Island to see Komodo Dragon. The rangers will give you the option of trekking: Short, Medium, and Long Trekking. 

After meet this dragon, you will sail to Menjerite Island. There is a jetty at Menjerite where you can start snorkeling. There are fishes and corals you can explore in Menjerite. 15 minutes from Menjerite, next stop is Kelor Island. 

You’ll hike to the top of Kelor Island to see the view of its beach and Flores Island just in front of this Island. If you would like to swim or snorkeling again, the corals and fish around Kelor Island is also amazing.

Option 3: Half Day Tour to Rinca ISLAND (Speed Boat or Wooden Boat)

This half day trip starts at 10:00 AM and ends at 19:00 pm. You will be picked up from the hotel and drop directly to the jetty.

This is the itinerary: Kelor Island – Menjerite – Rinca Island – Kalong (Flying Fox) Island. Around 30 minutes from Labuan Bajo, you’ll reach Kelor Island. Hiking to its top to take some picture and swim around the beach is the activities at this first stop.

Next stop is Menjerite; another spot for snorkeling to see some fishes and corals. From Menjerite to Rinca Island takes around 40 minutes sailing. In Rinca Island you will meet the dragon. Trekking options are short, medium, and long. Rangers are always there to guide you during your trekking time. Final spot is Kalong Island. 

Right after sunset, millions of bat flying out from mangrove trees to get food at nearby Islands. You will impressed by these bats. Finally, you will sail back to Labuan Bajo and our car will drop you back to the hotel.

 What to Bring: Hat, sun block, towel, trekking shoes, and some cash money for the entrance fee and personal purchasing.
